People celebrating the death of Charlie Kirk are worse than sick—they’re downright evil.

Has there always been this much evil? Or is it worse than it used to be? The answer is not only is it worse, it is much worse, because the philosophical basis of our country has been deteriorating for years.

The United States was created by men of the Enlightenment. The Enlightenment, also known as the Age of Reason, was an intellectual movement in the 17th and 18th centuries that used reason as the primary source of knowledge. In essence, the United States was based on reason, and it is reason that has been abandoned due to bad philosophical ideas.

In the 1920s, the Frankfurt School in Germany taught and expanded upon the ideology of communism by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. It was there that Critical theory, a theory that criticizes modern society, was born.

By holding this belief, that Western Civilization stood in the way of provoking a socialist revolution, the Frankfurt School condemned Western culture. To put it another way, they went about trying to destroy Western Civilization because they viewed reason as a threat.

Poland Foreign Minister Sikorski at the UN Security Council yesterday (9/22)

Three years and seven months after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, all international initiatives to bring the war to an end have seemingly discontinued.

U.S. President Donald Trump’s invitation to Russian President Vladimir Putin to make a peace deal at the summit at the Elmendorf-Richardson base in Alaska on August 15 produced a spike of hopes, but has so far been a dead-end (Re: Russia, September 15).

By refusing to depart from his maximalist demands and rejecting Trump’s offers of compromise, Putin has committed to an indefinite continuation of the war—a choice that may be a mistake as grave as his decision to launch the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022.

Putin has taken a series of aggressive actions toward NATO, raising the stakes of a Russian defeat and attempting to demonstrate the alliance’s weakness to justify the mounting costs of his war against Ukraine (Republic.ru, September 18).

For years Democrats have been accusing conservatives of being cruel, heartless individuals. Our crime? Believing in God, the Church, the family, the country, the Constitution, and the rule of law.

Their attempts to claim the moral high ground has led them to institute "restorative justice," where people credibly accused of criminal acts are released without bail. They've instituted policies allowing millions of unvetted, unvaccinated individuals from third-world countries to be welcomed into the country and hundreds of thousands of unaccompanied immigrant children to go missing in four years.

We've watched while Catholic churches were vandalized and burned because we oppose abortion. We've seen normal American citizens called Nazis while obese, hairy drag queens read graphic pornography to kids in public libraries.

We've had enough. The Left has accused us of being intolerant because we object to their lawlessness and depravity. The Left has been using Saul Alinsky's playbook to beat us into submission, and it's time we returned the favor.

On September 11, Russian scholarly journal Russia in Global Affairs highlighted a new research project, “Russia’s Living Idea-Dream: The Code of the Russian in the 21st Century.”

The project aims to build on a similarly titled report published by Sergey Karaganov, one of the founders of the Russian Council on Foreign and Defense Policy, and his like-minded colleagues (Faculty of World Economy and World Politics, July 11).

Karaganov’s work is meant to codify a renewed set of norms for Russian citizenship and identity in the making of a new world order (Russia in Global Affairs, July 2025). It aspires to become a new moral-political guide for Russian society; an analogue of Soviet ideals adapted to modern conditions.

The new Russian code has come to the forefront of public debate at a time of marked resurgence in rehabilitating Stalin’s image. This rehabilitation has manifested in the installation of new monuments to the Soviet dictator and favorable public statements from Russian officials.

We all know that when you corner an animal, it will fight tooth and nail for its survival.  This means that even supposedly meek creatures will defend themselves with a surprising level of frenzy and violence.  The choice for any cornered creature facing death is to go out with an all-out snarl.

This is where the Democrat party movement finds itself.  Snubbed at the polls, cut off from sub rosa USAID sustenance, humiliated time and again by the ever adroit Donald Trump, and hemorrhaging its plantation BIPOCs, the party has resorted to obscenities, outright antisemitism, and the defense of criminals everywhere (including drug-runners on the Caribbean Sea) as its tonic for combating The Donald.

Our commonsense hope that the Democrats would finally wake up and realize how much their foaming-at-the-mouth hatred, projection, trans adoration, scenery-chewing (Hakeem Jeffries), and irrationality (Stephen King) is costing them has been dashed.  Charlie Kirk’s murder did that.

Now we stand in the bright light that brings clarity.  The Democrat party has been taken over by nihilists, distorted beings who aim to bring us, our country, and our civilization down to ruin.  Any hope that so-called moderate Democrats might amass their collective huevos and rally to the defense of their country flickered out on September 10, 2025.

What’s going to happen now will be actions and counteractions that move us closer to, God forbid, a hot civil war.

As planned, he eliminated the most astute and successful political activist in a generation. Indeed, Kirk may well have ensured that Donald Trump won the 2024 election by not just increasing his youth vote by 6 percent since 2020 but, more importantly, by margins in the swing states of 15-24 percent, ensuring Trump’s victory.

No sooner was he killed than thousands on left-wing social media erupted in celebration—among them scores of teachers and professors. Their venom was eerily reminiscent of their earlier canonization of left-wing murderer Luigi Mangione. Who are the culprits responsible for this madness?

Three recent events have underscored the catastrophic erosion of the foundational tenets of the United States and the anti-Americanism of the Democrat Party.

The first is the brutal murder of a young woman in Charlotte, N.C., Iryna Zarutska. The second, the assassination of Charlie Kirk. The third, sitting Democrat senator Tim Kaine’s declaration reflecting a fundamental belief within the current Democrat Party that the government is the source and, thus, the final arbiter of all human rights.

Over the centuries, those that deem the state is paramount and, thus, the source of all rights, believe granting, limiting, or denying these rights is the sole discretion of the state based on what the state defines as the greater good.

When the state refuses to recognize the unalienable or God-given rights of its citizens, its society is beset with turmoil and its culture is fraught with no respect for the life, liberty, and property of its individual citizens.

In the case of Iryna Zarutska deference to the perpetrator’s race was more important to the state than her life or liberty. The deliberate creation of an environment wherein the unalienable property right of speech is not tolerated or recognized directly led to the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

Something fundamental shifted in Britain on September 13, 2025.

In the heart of London, a sea of flags unfurled and hundreds of thousands...no, millions of ordinary men and women marched together for an idea: That Britain must remain Britain, that its borders must be defended, and that its culture, heritage, and people deserve respect. Or else.

Naturally, the mainstream press dutifully downplayed the numbers, claiming “just” 110,000 to 150,000 attended. But I was there, and I can assure you that nobody who was there believes it. It was far larger, at least one million, but probably nearer three. And it did not appear out of nowhere.

It was the culmination of months of patriotic ferment across the country; anti-illegal immigration protests outside migrant hotels, towns and villages covered in Union Jacks, lamp posts wrapped in flags, and St. George’s Crosses painted defiantly on roundabouts, all exploding into London, shaking Britain’s rotten ruling class to its core.

Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) this week warned the American people that a Trump nominee for a State Department position was an extremist, cut from the same cloth as the Iranian mullahs and religious extremists.

Riley Barnes, nominated to serve as assistant secretary of State for democracy, human rights and labor, revealed his dangerous proclivities to Kaine in his opening statement when he said that “All men are created equal because our rights come from God, our creator; not from our laws, not from our governments.”

It was a line that should be familiar to any citizen — virtually ripped from the Declaration of Independence, our founding document that is about to celebrate its 250th anniversary.

Yet Kaine offered a very surprising response in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing.

“The notion that rights don’t come from laws and don’t come from the government, but come from the Creator — that’s what the Iranian government believes,” he said. “It’s a theocratic regime that bases its rule on Shia (sic) law and targets Sunnis, Bahá’ís, Jews, Christians, and other religious minorities. They do it because they believe that they understand what natural rights are from their Creator. So, the statement that our rights do not come from our laws or our governments is extremely troubling.”

The idea that laws “come from the government” is the basis of what is called “legal positivism,” which holds that the legitimacy and authority of laws are not based on God or natural law but rather legislation and court decisions.

A federal immigration board said Friday that immigrants who arrived in the United States illegally are ineligible for bond hearings while they challenge deportation proceedings in court.

The decision, rendered by Judge Keith E. Hunsucker at the Board of Immigration Appeals, affirms a previous July order from Todd M. Lyons, acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, who told ICE officers in a memo that such immigrants should be detained “for the duration of their removal proceedings,” which can take months or years.

Lawyers say the policy will apply to millions of immigrants who crossed the U.S.-Mexico border over the past few decades, including under the Biden administration.

Late last week NBC ran a “news” story featuring a dozen disgruntled federal judges whose rulings against various Trump administration policies have been stayed or overturned by the Supreme Court.

These lower court judges, none of whom had the courage to allow NBC to name them in the article, bewailed the failure of SCOTUS to provide sufficient justification for ruling against them.

It’s blindingly obvious, however, that the real issue they are whining about is the Court’s refusal to countenance their usurpation of the President’s Article II powers and frustrate implementation of his agenda.

Upon assuming office, the President signed a number of executive orders involving a variety of issues. Many of these EOs were challenged by lawsuits filed in district courts presided over by activist judges.

Inevitably, these judges issued “universal injunctions” that halted implementation of the EOs nationwide. The administration filed emergency appeals with SCOTUS to ensure these cases received expedited attention.

According to the NBC story, “The Supreme Court has granted Trump administration requests to block lower court rulings in more than 70 percent of cases brought by the administration that were decided via the shadow docket.”  [Cue ominous Darth Vader background audio]

President Donald Trump’s greatest achievement within six months was simply ending illegal immigration as we had once known it — without “comprehensive immigration reform” or any other rhetorical trickery.

It remains difficult to find, much less deport, the 10 to 12 million illegal aliens who entered in the last four years.

Those who helped break the law, by design or indifference, now believe it was moral to destroy federal immigration law but immoral to uphold it.

And it is still unclear whether former President Joe Biden’s handlers deliberately sabotaged their own border for political and demographic purposes out of sheer orneriness or utter incompetence.

 

Many of the left’s cherished totems — massive Green New Deal subsidies, the diversity/equity/inclusion industry, biological males competing in women’s sports, and the USAID revolving door — are either comatose or in their death throes.

The historic drop-off in military recruitment reversed shortly after Trump took office.

Republican voter registration is up, and Democratic registration is down.

Yesterday (9/03) in Washington DC, the lawyer for Epstein’s victims, Brad Edwards, when asked by a reporter about Epstein’s “list” replied with the victims behind him nodding in agreement, “there’s not a list.”

Democrats and liberal media have relentlessly politicized the Jeffrey Epstein case because they are more interested in trying to spin it as a Donald Trump scandal than in seeking justice for Epstein’s victims.

This political exploitation is glaringly obvious, given the Democrats’ own silence when they controlled Congress and the White House; they never released the Epstein files they claim are under wraps to protect Trump.

Despite repeated and wild insinuations, there has never been any credible evidence tying Trump to Epstein’s horrific abuses. The whole spectacle has become less about victims and more about Dem “Get Trump” political grandstanding.

The Ukrainian intelligence service has reported the destruction of a Russian D-74 artillery piece on the battlefield. The destruction of a single howitzer on its own is fairly unremarkable against the scale of the fighting there until you realize that this gun was made in the 1950s and phased out by the Soviet Red Army in the 1970s.

We can put this together with reports that, having lost more than 6000 tanks, Russia is once again fielding T-55s. The T-55 was a great tank but its design dates from the end of World War 2. I last saw one being blown to smithereens by a British Challenger 1 during the first Gulf War in 1991.

Quite apart from the one million casualties Russia has suffered – and two million more will be required to take the remaining 25 per cent of the Donbass, according to a recent British intelligence update – even the most fervent and optimistic supporter of the tyrannical Russian regime must realize its army is at its last gasp.

Almost weekly in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France, Germany, and Sweden a sensational assault committed by an illegal migrant -- often enjoying some sort of state support or with prior arrests for the same crime -- surfaces.

Mass protests are now common in Britain against the Labour Party's open borders policies and generous welfare entitlements for immigrants who arrive illegally and without authentic "political refugee" status.

Greek officials, also swamped by illegal immigration, now cite President Donald Trump's secure border policies as new models for their own.

The majority of European immigrants now come from majority-Muslim countries in the Middle East and North Africa. Yet many arrivals seem angrier at their newfound liberal hosts than at the dictatorships they fled back home.

Europe's immigration policies will not work in a multi-ethnic democracy.

In a watershed moment for the war on drugs, one of the most elusive and powerful drug lords in modern history — Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada García, 77, co-founder of the Sinaloa Cartel — stood before a U.S. federal judge and admitted guilt.  Cartel bosses don’t typically apologize, but in court, El Mayo did just that:

“I recognize the great harm illegal drugs have done. ... I apologize and take responsibility for my actions.”

Perhaps the most explosive part of Zambada’s plea was his acknowledgement of systemic bribery.  He admitted paying politicians, generals, and police officers to shield cartel operations.

U.S. officials have long suspected pervasive corruption in Mexico but lacked testimony from someone at the top.  El Mayo’s admission undercuts decades of denials from high-level officials about bribery in Mexico.

His testimony also forces D.C. policymakers to grapple with the uncomfortable truth: Billions in U.S. taxpayer aid have gone to a country where officials have worked hand in glove with the cartels.

We could stretch that back another half-century if we include British and French leaders, for that matter. That even includes Trump 45, who  came close with the Abraham Accords.

By the time Trump returned to office, Israel was in the middle of fighting a war started by Hamas and joined by Hezbollah and Iran. However, Trump has built enough momentum settling a half-dozen other conflicts -- as well as helping Israel take Iran out of the war -- that his influence in the region has hit a new zenith.

And he’s not just someone who says, “Her tunes are catchy.” Oh, no. Comey finds deep meaning in Taylor Swift’s music. It speaks to him—and the fact that it does explains a great deal about the man and his Democrat party politics.

Swift was, and is, what young girls and leftist women want to be: so gorgeous that their emotional mess doesn’t matter. In many ways, Swift is the avatar of a generational ideology that’s stuck in high school and junior high school: emotional, immature, and, when it comes to the girls, incredibly vicious.

Moreover, girls that age are devious, given to backstabbing, whether through truth or lies (but usually through the latter, not the former).

Those traits, incidentally, are the same traits that the Democrat party embraced when Trump was elected: emotional, immature, and incredibly vicious, including embracing partial truths and flat-out lies in their rush to destroy him.

The Biden administration placed thousands of illegal alien children in the care of unvetted sponsors, according to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley.

The Iowa Republican has released Department of Health and Human Services data showing that during President Joe Biden’s administration, over 11,000 unaccompanied alien children were placed with unvetted sponsors who were not the children’s parents or legal guardians. Additionally, no home visits were conducted for over 79,000 illegal immigrant children.

Moreover, some children were “allowed to be placed with sponsors who were actually smugglers and sex traffickers,” according to the HHS.  “My oversight continues to expose disturbing evidence that the Biden-Harris administration turned a blind eye to tens of thousands of kids who needed proper supervision and care,” Grassley said in a statement.

“It’s appalling to prioritize speed and optics over the safety and well-being of children,” the senator continued.

One of the darkest chapters of Vladimir Putin’s war on Ukraine will be his regime’s systematic abduction of Ukrainian children.

Last week, first lady Melania Trump delivered a letter to Putin during the Alaska summit, appealing to him on behalf of these children. In it, she reminded the Russian dictator that “every child shares the same quiet dreams in their hearts … of love, possibility and safety from danger.” Her letter avoided politics, but made the clear point that abducting children is an act of barbarism that cannot be tolerated.

Ukraine has documented nearly 20,000 kidnapped children, though the true number could be many times higher.

These boys and girls are not just displaced — they are forced into Russian families, indoctrinated with propaganda, punished for speaking their native tongue, and in some cases subjected to military training. Reports have even exposed online “catalogs” where children are sorted by eye color or hair color for adoption in Russia.

This is not wartime collateral damage, but a deliberate campaign to erase a nation by erasing its children.

This is not the picture of a happy man. Born on August 12, 1930,  George Soros turned 95 ereyesterday, and for his birthday present America brought him the annihilation of his legacy.

Soros has been known for two things: making money and spending it on political influence. Over the last few years, he has handed over control of his empire to his son, Alex, and Alex Soros is proving delightfully unable to do either of those things successfully.

First, Alex ruined his reputation for making money. George was once known as “the man who broke the bank of England,” famous for making $1 billion in one day by sniffing out arbitrage opportunities in currency exchange markets.

Taking control of Soros Fund Management, Alex became the man who broke the bank of Soros. Alex is as talented at making billions vanish as George was at making them appear, but maybe he inherited some of his dad’s skill for political maneuvering and network building?

This Friday’s high-stakes meeting between President Donald Trump and Russia’s Vladimir Putin in Alaska could bring real relief to Ukraine – but only if it stays laser-focused on one goal: an enforceable ceasefire. No redraw of the map. No "land for peace" concessions that reward Moscow’s aggression and punish Ukrainian sovereignty.

Over the weekend, Vice President JD Vance convened a secure call with European and Ukrainian officials. The message from allied capitals was blunt: halt the fighting first, then negotiate the rest – without giving up an inch of Ukrainian land. European leaders have repeated it publicly: "Peace cannot be decided without Ukraine".

Why Now Matters

On the ground, the war’s toll is rising. Russia is pushing hard in Donetsk and Luhansk, pounding civilian infrastructure and displacing thousands. Ukrainian officials report hundreds of daily clashes, rising casualties, and failing power and water systems. A ceasefire won’t end the war, but it would stop the bloodshed and open humanitarian corridors.

Is the US Supreme Court about to disenfranchise black Americans and other racial minority voters?

You would think so, given the hysterical hyperbole found in the progressive press. “The Supreme Court Prepares to End Voting Rights As We Know Them,” shrieks the headline in the Left-wing journal Mother Jones.

Is the Republican majority on the Supreme Court really about to strike down or eviscerate the Voting Rights Act of 1965? Will the Court legalize the outlawed methods used by Southern segregationists to deny the right to vote to black Americans, like literacy tests and poll taxes?

Of course not. The occasion of these alarms is the willingness of the Court to consider a Louisiana case – Louisiana v Callais -- involving the use of race by state legislatures in drawing congressional districts.

What is at issue is the question of whether the half-century-old practice of racial gerrymandering – drawing congressional districts in such a way as to elect representatives of a particular race to the House of Representatives – is compatible with the Voting Rights Act or the US constitution.

Russian officials are sounding increasingly alarmed and even paranoid in their public statements about the future of their country. Most notably, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov claimed in September of last year that Western governments have assembled a coalition of at least fifty countries in order to dismember Russia.

What may appear to be political paranoia or an attempt to mobilize citizens behind the regime is not necessarily based on imagined enemies. It reveals the official realization that numerous negative trends are converging on Russia and that the current regime, and even the state itself, may be running out of time.

Three overarching fears preoccupy Russian officialdom: losing the war, economic collapse, and state fracture. The prospect of all three simultaneously occurring soon looms on the horizon.

The Democrat Party is in political free fall. Their approval ratings are sinking, their coalition is cracking, and the message they once rode to power no longer works. A recent Wall Street Journal poll found 63% of Americans now view the party unfavorably — the worst numbers the poll has recorded in three decades.

This wasn’t sudden. Democrats saw their decline coming — and instead of changing course, they rigged the system to survive it.

After the 2020 census, Democrat-run states didn’t redraw their maps — they obliterated them. Republican districts were axed. Competitive seats were split. What replaced them were Democrat fortresses, designed to shield the party from the voters they’d lost.

And they did all of it with a straight face — insisting it was about “equity” and “representation.” It was a con. They used woke buzzwords to rubber-stamp power grabs. They redrew the lines while lecturing the rest of the country about democracy.

No state exposes that hypocrisy more than Illinois.  So blatant that Stephen Colbert ridiculed its governor on national television for it.
